Citizens' Guide to the IPCB

The Citizens’ Guide provides an overview of the Board and its most common proceedings, including enforcement actions, permit appeals, regulatory relief mechanisms, underground storage tank appeals, “pollution control facility” siting appeals, and rulemakings. The Citizens' Guide also covers such topics as hearings, electronic filing, and ex parte communications.

Annual Reports

Semi-Annual Regulatory Agenda

This agenda appears twice each year in the Illinois Register, summarizing rulemakings in which the Board might proceed to first notice during the ensuing six months.

Videoconference Hearings

The Board or hearing officer may decide that a rulemaking or adjudicatory hearing will be held by videoconference.
