IPCB COOL application supported Operating Systems and Web Browsers

Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or higher
  • Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.06 or higher
  • Netscape 7.0x
  • Netscape 7.2x
  • Mozilla Firefox 1.0
  • (Netscape 6 and Netscape 7.1 are not supported)
MacOS 8.6 or higher (MacOS X in emulator mode)
  • Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4 or higher
  • (Netscape 6 is not supported)
Macintosh OSX 10.3
  • Mac Safari 1.2

IPCB COOL application Web Browser compatible settings

Microsoft Internet Explorer
    Netscape Communicator/Navigator
Under "Internet Options -> Security" select for the zone "internet"
  • Security level "Medium"
  • For IE 6, Privacy level "Medium"
Under "Preferences -> Advanced" select
  • Enable Java
  • Enable JavaScript
  • Accept Cookies
  • "Warn me before accepting a cookie" must NOT be selected

Java Virtual Machine (JVM) Requirements


  • For Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, the Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM) and the Sun Java Plugin v1.4.2 are supported
  • For the Netscape 7.0.x browser, the Sun Java Plugin v1.4.2 is supported
  • Sun Java Plugins v1.3.1 & v1.4.0 are not supported
