Board Adopts Technical Corrections to Volatile Organic Material Emissions Regulations | |
December 16, 2010 - On December 16, 2010, the Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted amendments to its air regulations addressing emission of volatile organic material (VOM). The rulemaking is docketed as In the Matter of: Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) for Volatile Organic Material Emissions From Group II Consumer & Commercial Products: Proposed Amendments to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 211, 218, and 219, R10-08(A). This rulemaking resulted from an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) motion seeking to correct a technical error in recently-adopted rules. The Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) on December 14, 2010, issued a Certificate of No Objection. | |
