November 4, 2010 - On November 4, 2010, the Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted for second-notice a proposal to amend its air regulations addressing emission of volatile organic material (VOM). The rulemaking is docketed as In the Matter of: Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) for volatile Organic Material Emissions From Group II consumer & Commercial Products: Propose Amendments to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 211, 218, and 219, R10-08(A). This proposal stems from an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) motion seeking to correct a technical error in recently-adopted rules. The rulemaking proposal will now be reviewed by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR). | |
