Pollution Control Board Grants Motion to Withdraw a Rulemaking Proposal to Amend Nitrogen Oxides Emissions Regulations
September 16, 2010 - On September 16, 2010, the Illinois Pollution Control Board granted the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s (IEPA) motion to withdraw the rulemaking proposal docketed as NOx Trading Program: Amendments to 35 Ill. Adm. Code Part 217 (R06-22). Originally filed on January 19, 2006, the proposal would have amended the regulations governing Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions found at 35 Ill. Adm. Code Part 217, Subparts A, T, U, and W.
