Board Adopts First-Notice Amendments to Non-Hazardous Solid Waste Rules
July 12, 2007 - On July 12, 2007,the Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted for first-notice a proposal to amend Parts 810 and 811 of the Board’s regulations governing solid waste disposal and standards for new solid waste landfills. The Illinois Chapter of the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) filed the proposal (Proposed Amendments to Solid Waste Landfill Rules, 35 Ill. Adm. Code 810 and 811 (R07-08) with the Board on July 27, 2006.
