March 2, 2006 - The Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted for final notice, revisions to the Board’s regulations regarding exemptions from air construction and operating permit requirements. On March 2, 2006, the Board took this action on the rulemaking docketed as In the Matter of: Proposed Amendments to Exemptions From State Permitting Requirements for Plastic Injection Molding Operations (35 Ill. Adm. Code 201.146) (R05-20). The stated purpose of the proposal is to eliminate the burden of state construction and operating permitting of low emitting emission units and activities for both the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and owners and operators of plastic injection molding operations. | |
