Those changes included the addition of language reflecting current IEPA practice to the rules on mixing zones and the amendment of mixing zone regulations to allow mixing in certain small streams when adequate dilution is not available.
On November 27, 2006, in accordance with Section 27(b) of the Act (415 ILCS 5/27(b) (2006)), the Board requested that the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) conduct an economic impact study for this rulemaking.
