We feel the study has followed closelythe USEPA protocols and builds upon the previous water quality standard. I have transmitted a copy ofthe report to you; we would appreciate your thoughts on the study. As you are aware IAWA is very interested in implementing this study and modifying the Illinois water quality standards as regards to dissolved oxygen. This feature alone adds significantly to the standards as it recognizes the seasonality ofthe natural aquaticsystems in Illinois.
