The USEPA amended its wastewater pretreatment
regulations once during that period.
Additionally, the amendments incorporate best
management practices (BMPs) under theFWPCA.
These revisions reduce the permitted discharge level of pollutants into publicly owned
treatment works by existing and new sources within these two sections.
