ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCYOrder of the Board:Deerfield earlier obtained a variance to permit the burningof elm trees (~71-63, June 16, 1971) , and one of the conditionswas the submission of a report by October 31, 1971, describingalternative methods to avoid the need for future open burning.
We view this as a request for a modification or extension
of our variance, and we think action by us is unnecessary.
These regulations make the reporting condition obsolete, and it
need not be followed.
The petition is dismissed.
