New Sections 56.2(a) and 56.2(c) require the Board to
adopt regulations for the design and operation of potentiallyinfectious medical waste treatment, storage and transferfacilities, and to adopt regulations prescribing standards fortransporting, packaging, segregating, labeling, and markingpotentially infectious medical waste.
