  • Edison deposited bottom ash and slag into the West Filled Area prior to 1975.
  • From the Main Quarry the water drains by gravity into
the North Quarry settling pond and finally the sluicing water is pumped back into the River(under NPDES permit #IL0002216). (Pet. at 4.) However, Edison states that as its mandatory application for 3significant modification indicated, Lincoln Quarry cannot satisfy some of these standards.
