- Board Adopts Final Opinion and Order to Control Volatile Organic Material

On June 17, 2010, the Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted a final order adopting air
pollution regulations.

- Code 211, 218, and 219 (R10-08).
- The adopted regulations intend to reduce emissions of volatile organic material (VOM)
from Group II Consumer & Commercial Products in ozone nonattainment areas classified
as moderate and above in order to meet Illinois’ obligations under the Clean Air Act
(CAA).
