March 15, 2012 - On March 15, 2012, the Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted a second-notice proposal to amend Part 223 of the Board’s regulations addressing volatile organic material (VOM) emissions from various consumer products and aerosol coatings. On July 13, 2011, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) filed the proposal, which is docketed as In the Matter of: Standards and Limitations for Organic Material Emissions for Area Sources: Amendments to 35 Ill. Adm. Code Part 223, (R12-8). | |
