May 26, 1977 the Board granted Mobil’s Motion to Vacate its priorOrder setting the matter for hearing and granted Mobil’s request towithdraw certain parts of its Petition.
In support of its Variance Petition Mobil alleges that it has
expended $1,250,000 on ammonia reduction efforts resulting in adecrease in ammonia discharge levels by 50 in the last four years,that its discharge conforms to best practical technology for allparameters and that, through recycling, its total effluent dischargehas been reduced.
