- Karpiel and Lynne P.
- Padovan.
- Prior to coming to the
Board, Karpiel served in the Illinois Senate from 1984 until 2003, and the Illinois House
of Representatives from 1979 until 1984.
- Karpiel serves
on the advisory boards for the Family Shelter of DuPage and the Department of Children
