Illinois Pollution Control Board Grants 45-day Provisional Variance to
Midwest Generation EME, LLC (Joliet Generation Station)
Chicago - The Illinois Pollution Control Board granted a 45-day
provisional variance from the total suspended solid effluent standards to Midwest
Generation EME, LLC.
- It will allow for
retirement of three existing intra-plant sluice water transport lines and to replace
them with two new larger lines and associated valves.
