Title:	Board Extends Second Notice Period to Reopen Public Comment in Chicago Area Waterways System and Lower Des Plaines River Subdocket D Rulemaking
Summary:	On May 21, 2015, the Board adopted an order in Water Quality Standards and Effluent Limitations for the Chicago Area Waterway System [CAWS] and Lower Des Plaines River [LDPR]: Proposed Amendments to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 301, 302, 303, and 304, R08-9(D), which noted that the Board agreed with the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) to extend the second notice period. The Board and JCAR agreed to this extension to allow the Board to reopen public comment on the issue of temperature. The Board will allow participants to provide comment on temperature until June 1, 2015.
