Board Sends Amendments to Radium Water Quality Standards to Second Notice
December 15, 2005 - On December 15, 2005, the Illinois Pollution Control Board sent to second-notice the rulemaking entitled Revisions To Radium Water Quality Standards: Proposed New 35 Ill. Adm. Code 302.307 and Amendments To 35 Ill. Adm. Code 302.207 and 302.525 which contains revised general use water quality standards for radium. Radium is a naturally occurring radioactive metal that is commonly found in Illinois groundwater.
