Board Proposes New Procedural Rules To Allow Electronic Filing
November 7, 2002 - On November 7, 2002, the Illinois Pollution Control Board adopted a first-notice opinion and order in the rulemaking entitled Revision of the Board’s Procedural Rules: 35 Ill. Adm. Code 101-130, R03-10. The Board initiated this rulemaking to allow electronic filing in all Board proceedings through its new Clerk’s Office On-Line or “COOL.” Additionally, the rules will reflect recent amendments to the Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5 (2000), amended by P.A. 92-0574, effective June 26, 2002) and the Administrative Procedure Act (5 ILCS 100 (2000), amended by P.A. 92-0330, effective August 9, 2001).
