On September 9, 2011, Terrona Farms located in Peotone, Will County, filed a petitionfor an “adjusted agronomic rate” (Pet.).
Terrona Farms requests authorization from the Board to
apply landscape waste (leaves) to the organic farm at a rate higher than the “agronomic rates”defined as “not more than 20 tons per acre per year” by Section 21(q) of the EnvironmentalProtection Act (Act) and the Board’s rules.
