Therefore, I would like to strongly urge your support for the recommended water quality
standard improvements proposed by the Illinois EPA for the Chicago Area Waterways (CAWS)as well as the Lower Des Plaines River as stated in Rule Making R08-009.
On behalf of not only my family, but everyone else who
uses these waterways for recreational and other purposes – as well as the affected aquatic lifewithin these waters - I hope that you will support and approve these changes.
