Olin Corporation has filed a petition for variance fromthe Open Burning Provisions of Section (9) (c) of theEnvironmental Protection Act and Section 505, Part V, Chapter2 of the Board regulations, in order to be allowed to burn65 powder-contaminated buildings at its East Alton plant andto decontaminate approximately 10,000 square feet of powdercontaminated ground within a 120 day period.
