This petition requested an extension of the July 1, 1972deadline for disinfection of effluent from the company~s meatpacking plant lagoon system at Rushviile on the ground that dis-~charge of that effluent to the municipal treatment facilities wouldbe accomplished ~in July 1972.~ The implication being that it wouldbe a gross waste of money to require :Lnstallation of chlorinationfacilities for a few days of service, we scheduled no hearing butheld the case pending the Agency s recommendation.
If this is so, then what appeared to he an obvious
