  • The existing effluent limitation of 2.5 mg/i for fluoride was
adopted by the Board on January 9, 1972 following extensive publichearings through the State.
  • Fluoride can delay the hatching of fish eggs
and has been reported by McKee and Wolf to kill trout atconcentrations ranging from 2.3 to 7.2 mg/i.
