Abstract:	ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD December 19, 2002IN THE MATTER OF: ) )NOISE RULE UPDATE: ) R03-8AMENDMENTS TO 35 ILL. By today’s action the Board adopts the proposal for first notice. Adm. Code 900 and 903. These are general provisions dealing with the definitions of acoustical terminology, prohibition against noise pollution, and sound measurement procedures. The Board will take out the affirmative obligations but will include discretionary authority in the rule. Reg. 13579; amended in R83-7 at 11 Ill.
