PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS v. BENTRONICS CORPORATION,
Having previously found that respondent violated Section 12(a), (d), and (f) of the Environmental Protection Act (Act) (415 ILCS 5/12(a), (d) and (f) (2000) amended by P.A. 92-0574, eff. June 26, 2002), and 35 Ill. Adm. Code 307.1101(a)(1), 307.2301(c)(1) and (2) of the Board’s water pollution regulations, the Board ordered the respondent to pay a total civil penalty of $110,000 and to cease and desist from further violation of the Act. Complainant must file an affidavit in support of its request for fees by September 19, 2002, and respondents may file a response to the affidavit by October 3, 2002.
