The Agency stated that it has recently become aware that
burning PVC material in an oxygen—starved environment such asthat found in a wire burning in incinerator may produce dioxinsand furans which can be of concern to the environment.
This 2—3 day test burn would
be conducted during the week of October 12, 1987.
