On March 24, 1988 the Board adopted for second noticecertain amendments to water quality and effluent standardsapplicable to the Chicago and Calumet River Systems, as proposedjointly by The Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicagoand the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
Today the Board adopts the amendments as proposed at second
notice, with exception of the JCAR recommendation noted above.
