The administrative citation alleges that the respondent
violated Section 21(p)(1) of the Act (415 ILCS 5/21(p)(1) (1998)), in respect to open dumpingwithout a permit.
The Board reminds respondent that, after hearing, any person found to have violated
the Act as alleged in the administrative citation is liable to pay a penalty under Section 42(b)(4)of the Act of $1,500 per violation, as well as any hearing costs incurred by the Board or thecomplainant.
The Board directs that this matter proceed to hearing as expeditiously as practicable.
