The Board accepted for hearing the Illinois Association of Wastewater Agencies January 17, 2002 proposal to amend the Board's water pollution control regulations. The Board also granted petitioner's motion to waive the signature requirement.

IAWA does not propose to change the general water quality standard for total ammonia
nitrogen.

Finally, IAWA states that corresponding changes would also be necessary toimplementing rules adopted by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) in 35 Ill. The Board directs the hearing officer assigned to this matter to schedulehearings as required by Title VII of the Act.
