On February 17, 1995 the hearing officer issued an order
establishing the hearing schedule.
In each case, the commenters expressed
their continued support for adoption of the amendments.
The
Illinois Dead Animal Disposal Act is administered by theDepartment.
The
purpose is to clarify that on-farm sites where burial disposal isconducted in accordance with the Illinois Dead Animal DisposalAct, and regulations promulgated thereto, are n~landfillssubject also to the Board’s landfill regulations5.
