The Illinois Pollution Control Board, on March 16, 2006, adopted for first notice a
proposal to control mercury emissions from coal-fired electric generating units (EGUs),
without commenting on the merits of the proposal.
- The Board has no
discretion to amend or alter those set timeframes.
- The following schedule reflects the strict
timeframes the Board must meet throughout this process:
