I respectfully request that the Illinois Pollution Control Board approve MidwestGeneration’s request for temporary relief from comprehensive state regulations that haveensured ongoing reductions in air emissions from the company’s plants from 2008 to2019.
The company has been meeting all of its environmental commitments
under state regulations, and even with the variance, would meet all requirements by thetime the state program ends in 2019.
