Mercury pollution from Illinois coal plants is a danger to our health and our environment .Illinois' mercury rule :- Requires coal plants to reduce their mercury pollution by 90 percent by 2009
- Does not allow for "pollution trading" schemes that would let some polluters buy their way out of
cleaning up - Does not contain loopholes that would let some coal plants avoid installing the best available
pollution controls .- We should do everything we can to protect our children and all of us from the health threats posed by me,
