HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 1, 2009, the following parties participated in a telephone status conference
with the hearing officer: Complainant; Attorney John Collins on behalf of Bell Sports, Inc.;
Attorneys from Seyfarth Shaw on behalf of Tate and Lyle (formerly A.E. Staley); Attorney
Theresa Duckett on behalf of Combe Laboratories, Inc.; and Attorney Matt Larson on behalf of
Hexion (formerly Borden Chemical Co.). Attorneys Duckett and Larson will file appearances.
Complainant reports that the following respondents were not effectively served: Waste
Hauling Landfill, Inc.; Jerry Camfield; General Electric Railcar; Zexel Illinois, Inc.; and
Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. Complainant intends to pursue service on these respondents.
Complainant is optimistic that settlement will be reached with some of the respondents,
but cannot rule out the possibility of hearing.

The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
officer at 2:00 p.m. on October 20, 2009. Complainant will set up the same conference call-in
number.
