HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 30, 2009, the parties informed the hearing officer that settlement is moving
forward and discussions continue. Respondent, Village of Romeoville, also continues with
internal discussions.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephonic status conference with the hearing
officer on October 15, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. The status must be initiated by the petitioners, but each
party is nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the status conference, the parties
must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for
hearing. If, however, a motion to voluntarily dismiss is filed prior to the next status conference,
the conference will be cancelled without further order.
