HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On April 30, 2009, a telephonic status conference was held. The petitioners represented that discussions
continue and progress has been achieved regarding a modified host agreement. Waste Management is
reviewing the host agreement. The parties also represented that some progress has been impeded due to the
restricting of Waste Management and the recent elections in the Village of Romeoville. The petitioners
represented that they will file an additional 60-day waiver of the statutory decision deadline.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephonic status conference with the hearing officer on July 30,
2009, at 1:00 p.m. The status must be initiated by the petitioners, but each party is nonetheless responsible for
its own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-
captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a motion to voluntarily dismiss is filed prior to the
next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
