HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 24, 2008, the parties were scheduled to participate in a telephone
status conference with the hearing officer. The hearing officer was unable to appear.
Since the last status conference, respondent hired an attorney who filed an answer to the
complaint along with affirmative defenses. On October 29, 2008, complainant moved to
strike the affirmative defenses, and the Board has not yet ruled on the motion.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer at 3:00 p.m. on January 6, 2009. The status conference shall be initiated
by the complainant.
