NORA’S
MOTION
FOR
EXTENSION
OF
TIME
TO
FILE
COMMENTS
NORA,
An
Association
of
Responsible
Recyclers
(“NORA”)
hereby
requests
an
extension
of
time
in
which
to
submit
pre-filed
comments
to
the
Board.
NORA
requests
that
NORA
be allowed
until
Monday,
September 22,
2008
to
submit
its pre-filed
comments.
The
reason
for
this
request
is a fire
which
occurred
on
September
11
th
and
12
th
which
consumed
much
the law
office
and
records
of
NORA’s
General
Counsel,
Christopher
Harris.
A
newspaper
article
concerning
the
file appeared
in
the
Bozeman
(Montana)
Daily
Chronicle
on
September
13
and
can
be
read
on-line
(bozemandailychronicle.com).
The
records
included
numerous
documents
relating
to the
rulemaking
in the
above-captioned
matter.
In
addition
to the
destruction
of the
documents, there
has
been
a
major
disruption of
normal
law
office
communications
such
as
the
fax
line.
Diligent
efforts
are
being
made
to
reconstruct
the file
in
this
matter.
The
undersigned
has
contacted
Stephanie
Flowers,
counsel
for
the
Illinois
EPA
in
this
matter,
who
stated
that
she has
no
objection
to
the
proposed
extension.
Respectfully
submitted,
