To whom it may concern I just wanted to voice my support for the improvement of the water quality in the

Chicago Area, even if it means paying an extra $20 a year over the next twenty years as a taxpayer.

This year I got very sick from paddling on the Dupage River, a river that I thought was fairly clean before

paddling it (I know I got sick due to the water quality on the Dupage from to the feedback I got from

participating in the CHEERS study). Because of this I would be afraid to ever paddle the chicago river, or any

rivers near the downtown area where I consider the water quality to be much worse than the Dupage. It would

be nice to paddle the waterways in this area and not worry about getting sick or to have to drive up to wisconsin

where sickness from enjoying the rivers is unheard of.
