HEARING OFFICER ORDER
The parties are advised that this matter has been assigned to the hearing officer
identified below. From this date forward, any pleading filed with the Clerk of the Board
in this matter must also be served individually on the hearing officer.
On June 16, 2008, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with
the hearing officer. The hearing officer will send pre-hearing questions to the parties on
or about July 14, 2008. The deadline for responses, as well as any prehearing testimony,
is
August 11, 2008. The mailbox rule will not apply.
A hearing was set for August 18, 2008. The hearing will begin at 3:00p.m.. To
accommodate members of the public that requested evening hours, the hearing officer
will hold the record open until at least 6:00p.m., and will stay until everyone has an
opportunity to speak. At 6:00 p.m., if there are no members of the public present who
wish to speak, the hearing officer will adjourn the hearing.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer at 2:00 p.m. on August 11, 2008. The status conference shall be initiated
by the complainant.
