    (Administrative Citation)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by A.S. Moore):
On June 28, 2007, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) timely filed an
administrative citation against Steve B. and Beth M. Segner (respondents).
    See
    415 ILCS
5/31.1(c) (2006); 35 Ill. Adm. Code 108.202(c). The Agency alleged that respondents violated
Sections 21(p)(1) and (p)(7) of the Act by causing or allowing the open dumping of waste in a
manner resulting in litter and the deposition of general or clean construction or demolition
    debris.
    See
    415 ILCS 5/21(p)(1), (p)(7) (2006). The administrative citation concerns a site
commonly known as Carbondale/Segner, with Site Code No. 1998525010, and described as Lot
236, BLK 000, PLT 070, Triple Lake HTS Unit 2, 100x221, in Carbondale, Williamson County.
On August 1, 2007, respondents filed a petition for review contesting the citation, which the
Board on August 9, 2007, accepted for hearing.
On May 5, 2008, the Agency filed a “Motion to Withdraw Administrative Citation”
(Mot.). In its motion, the Agency states that “[f]acts and circumstances discovered since the
filing of the Administrative Citation indicate that it is appropriate to withdraw this
Administrative Citation at this time.” Mot. at 1. The Board grants the Agency’s motion,
dismisses the pending case, and closes the docket.
    See
    35 Ill. Adm. Code 108.402.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, John T. Therriault, Assistant Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that
the Board adopted the above order on May 15, 2008, by a vote of 4-0.
