HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On February 21, 2008, all parties appeared at a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The complainant represented that progress is being achieved in its attempt to
narrow the issues. Respondent Village of Hinsdale (Hinsdale) is addressing an amended permit
and its consultants are drafting a plan that addresses excessive storm water. Hinsdale also
represented that a couple of issues remain, including fees. Subpoenaed documents and draft
reports continue to be reviewed and commented on. Settlement negotiations progressing with
respondent Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, Illinois. It was agreed
that the telephonic status conference be continued to the date and time noted below.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on April 24, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. The complainant represented that it will notify the parties and the hearing
officer of a call-in number prior to the next telephonic status conference. At the status
conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and
their readiness for hearing.
