Adm. Code
101.510, hereby move Hearing Officer Bradley Halloran for an Extension ofTime to file
its Motion
to Cancel Hearing, and in support thereot: state as follows:
1.
On February 15, 2008, Hearing Officer Bradley Halloran included in his order that
Respondents were
to file their Motion to Cancel Hearing on or before February 19, 2008. The basis
for the motion is that counsel for Respondents has suffered a broken elbow, had surgery
to repair the
fracture, and is currently undergoing occupational therapy in order
to regain use of her left arm.

Counsel for Respol!dents has been inf0f!lled that her orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Brian

Hartigan, was out oftown from February 14-17, 2008. While she has been told that Dr. Hartigan
prepared a letter, it has not yet been typed as
of today and therefore cannot be submitted today in
support
ofthe Motion to Cancel Hearing.

Respondents therefore seek a very short extension oftime so that the surgeon'sletter
can
be submitted. Respondents ask for leave to file the motion in the next few days, as soon as the
letter is ready
to be filed.
4.
Respondents have no objection to a commensurate extension oftime to respond being
granted
to Complainant.
5.
No prejudice will result as the Motion to Cancel Hearing will be submitted well within
the ten
(10) days ofhearing allowed under 35 Ill. Adm. Code 101.510.
WHEREFORE, Respondents Community Landfill Company, Inc., Edward Pruim and Robert
Pruim respectfully request that Hearing Officer Bradley Halloran grant their Motion for an Extension
of Time pursuant to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 101.522.
