HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On December 20, 2007, the Agency filed a motion to proceed with an amended proposal
(Mot.). The motion requested "that a conference call be held with the interested parties and the
Hearing Officer to determine convenient hearing dates for R07-19." Mot. at 4. On January 3,
2008, the Illinois Environmental Regulatory Group (IERG) filed a response to the Agency's
motion (IERG Resp.). IERG agreed with the request to hold a conference call to determine
hearing dates, prefiling of testimony, and other similar deadlines, and seeks to participate in that
call. IERG Resp. at 1-2. hi an order dated January 10, 2008, the Board granted the Agency's
motion to proceed with the amended proposal and directed the assigned hearing officer to
proceed to hearing.
Accordingly, a participants' conference call is scheduled to take place on Thursday,
February 14, 2008 at 9 AM. The hearing officer will conduct the status conference, the purpose
of which is limited to having the Agency, as proponent, and other participants report on their
availability for hearing and to schedule hearings and associated deadlines in this proceeding.
Specifically, participants should prepare for the conference call by determining dates between
March 17, 2008, and June 27, 2008 on which they will
not
be available for hearing. Only
questions and comments related to the procedural purpose of this conference call will be

allowed. This status conference will not be used to discuss the merits of the Agency's amended
proposal or to receive evidence on that amended proposal.
Anyone may participate in the conference call either by speaking or by merely listening.
