NOTICE OF PRE-HEARING TELECONFERENCE

HEARING OFFICER ORDER

On January 22, 2008, 1 issued an order setting forth how the hearings beginning Monday,

January 28, 2008, would proceed. I have received a request for a pre-hearing conference to

address additional concerns regarding the hearing, including concerns about how questions will

be handled. The Board's rules allow a hearing officer to schedule a pre-hearing conference to

attempt to identify and limit issues of disagreement among the participants to promote efficient

use of hearing time. 35 Ill. Adm. Code 102.404(b) and 102.406(c). Therefore, we will hold a

prehearing conference on Friday, January 25, 2008, to address issues relating to the conduct of

the hearing. Anyone may participate in the pre-hearing conference. To participate you should
