HEARING OFFICER ORDER

On December 6, 2007, all parties appeared at a telephonic status conference with the

hearing officer. Counsel for respondent stated that the Illinois Attorney General has not

appointed it Special Assistant Attorney General, apparently pursuant to 15 ILCS 205/6, and

could partake in discussion.

The petitioner represented that it anticipates that it will proceed to hearing, but it was

agreed that further discussion on the above-captioned matter will be held next week at another

telephonic status conference with the hearing officer. A hearing date may be set at that time.

The petitioner represented that it will file an additional waiver of the statutory decision deadline,

to and including March 20, 2008.

The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status

conference on December 13, 2007, at 8:45 a.m. The status conference must be initiated by the

petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the status

conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and

their readiness for hearing.
