Dear Members of the Illinois Pollution Control Board,

We urge you to deny approval for the landfill expansion in Peoria

County. We have lived in close proximity to the landfill for the past 37

years. This landfill, because of its nature, has always been a threat to the

safety and well being of residents, animal life, fauna, land forms and

water. It is time to protect the families living in the area. In doing so the

Sandusky Aquifer can perhaps remain pure.

We are not sure why the owners of the landfill feel they are entitled to

bring this issue up again and again? It is time to close the door forever

on this expansion. Many have spoken - please listen!
